By downloading, installing, or using the TravelTap iOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. About TravelTap
TravelTap is a travel inspiration and bucket list application designed to help users discover attractions around the world, build personal travel lists, and track their adventures.
3. License to Use
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control. This license is subject to compliance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks
4. In-App Purchases
TravelTap offers optional in-app purchases including continent passes, country bundles, and a World Pass. These purchases:
- Are processed securely by Apple's App Store payment system
- Are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policy
- Unlock content permanently for your Apple ID (as long as the App is available)
- Can be restored on any device signed in with the same Apple ID via the "Restore Purchases" feature
All purchase-related disputes should be directed to Apple's support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
5. Content and Intellectual Property
All content within TravelTap, including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, attraction data, and design, is the property of TravelTap or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Attraction photos and descriptions are curated for informational purposes. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee the completeness or currency of all destination information.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Any attraction information is always accurate, complete, or current
- The App will meet your specific requirements
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TravelTap and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the 12 months prior to the claim.
8. Travel Advisory
TravelTap provides inspirational content about destinations worldwide. The App does not provide professional travel advice. Always check current travel advisories, entry requirements, and local regulations before visiting any destination. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided in the App.
9. Changes to the App and Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.
